Merry Christmas from The Olde Savannah Inn, Happy Holidays!

Why Choose The Olde Savannah Inn out of 45 inns in Savannah. Here is why:

My elves and I have been decorating in anticipation of a BIG turnout for our Savannah Christmas at The Olde Savannah Inn. The Savannah Bed and Breakfast is one of the finest inns in Savannah Georgia. Kathleen caters to her guests as if they are all ambassadors and the red carpet is rolled out. Kathleen states" Christmas in Savannah is an experience you don't want to miss. For those who love the smell of balsam, you will fall in love with our towering Live Twelve foot Fraser fir Christmas tree decorated with all of our old fashion ornaments, some of them are very special as they have been given to us by our guests. It is always a fun day when we go and pick out the Best Tree through the LIons Club at Daffene Park in Savannah, Georgia. What a great cause as all the volunteers work tirelessly each year to offer Savannah their Best selection. We had to get 4 big and strong men to assist us to bring this tree into the inn. We stayed up all night with such enthusiasm to start decorating to accomplish our mission. We have accomplished designing the entire Olde Savannah Inn for all our friends who will be with us during our celebration of our Savannah tradition. This weekend, we will be putting up our new nine foot Flocked Alaskan Tree showcasing our bay window, so when you are having Kathleen's decadent Gourmet breakfast, you will feel as if you have visited a Winter Wonderland. We are very excited to have this new edition to celebrate this beautiful season with a touch of a white Christmas...This is such a joyous time of the year, although Christmas and Thanksgiving are everyday Most of us just get so wrapped up with our daily routines, we forget to smell the coffee and share our blessings with others. This is the time for counting your blessings and helping out the less unfortunate. I am always reminded how blessed I am to have met the most incredible people , if I wasn't an innkeeper and didn't own The Olde Savannah Inn, I probably wouldn't have been so fortunate for the past several years. This is our sixth Christmas at The Olde Savannah Inn and it is such a joy to have survived some difficult times and know that this Savannah Inn was appointed by a power greater than me and I am his servant to offer to my guest memories of a lifetime. Give yourself the gift Of a Romantic Getaway in an award Winning Bed and Breakfast in Savannah ,Georgia. You will be pampered by Kathleen, sleep in the finest European luxurious linens, wake up to the smells of Kathleen's apple smoked bacon /sausage, French Press Coffee, and her carefully chosen Fruit Medley just to name a few. Each day, Breakfast is an event and just the Savannah Breakfast is worth the visit. Be good to yourself this Christmas , Come to the Best Bed and Breakfast in Savannah, shop in the Intimate Unique Boutique shops, Dine at Elizabeth's or The Olde Pink House, take that magic Romantic Carriage Ride for two...It is all here in Beautiful Savannah, Don't miss out, We still have rooms available. We are saving them JUST FOR YOU! Happy Holidays from a friend you haven't met yet...Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, SEE YOU SOON, Kathleen

The Night Before Christmas in The Olde Savannah Inn

kathleen Dupuis - Wednesday, December 12, 2012

"T'was the Night Before Christmas in The Olde Savannah Inn"

T'was the night before Christmas, and all through the inn, Rooms lay in wait for the celebrations to begin.

The garland was draped on the mantles with care, in hopes that our guests soon will appear.

Later as Guests nestled all snug in their beds, visions of Kathleen's breakfast danced in their heads,

Kathleen in her apron mixing spoon in hand made good on her promise that Christmas would be grand.

When out on the stoop there arose such a clatter, we jumped to our feet to see what was the matter.

Away to the window we flew like a flash, tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.

The moon of Savannah illuminated below, a Christmas like scene without the snow.

When, what to our wondering eyes should appear, a horse drawn carriage drawing near.

With an old Savannah drayman so lively and quick, We knew in a moment it must be St. Nick

His eyes how they twinkled! His dimples how merry, His cheeks were like roses, His nose

like a cherry. He had a broad face and a little round belly that shook when he laughed,

like a bowl full of jelly, When up he stood happily, turned to his right, gave us a bow and said,

Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night.

Good night.
