FAQ, general inn policies and privacy policy below

Our check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 


Our check-out time is 11:00 a.m.


We want you to enjoy the best Savannah has to offer.  Due to the nature of our intimate Bed & Breakfast, we do take full payment upon reservation, including tax. We accept a two night minimum and a three night minimum on holidays. 


Cancellation policy:

Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancel 7 days or less prior to reservation: Guest forfeits entire value of reservation. 
Cancel 14 - 8 days prior to reservation: Guest forfeits one night’s value of reservation.
Cancel 15 or more days prior to reservation: Guest pays 15% of the total value of reservation. 

If you cancel your reservation The Olde Savannah Inn will make every reasonable effort to re-sell the room for the cancelled days. If The Olde Savannah Inn is able to re-sell the room for the entire portion of the cancelled days then the guest will only be responsible for a $35.00 processing fee, otherwise the above-referenced cancellation policies will apply. 

Promotions: 

No prior reservations, gift certificates, weddings, or special events can be combined with any other specials or sales that The Olde Savannah Inn is running at the time of booking. 

Weddings & elopements: 

Due to the intimate size of The Olde Savannah Inn, we only accept full payment, with refunds allowed only in accordance with our cancellation policies. 
Other: All reservations include a 13% bedding and state tax for the State of Georgia. Due to the size of the The Olde Savannah Inn the entire value of the reservation is taken at the time of booking. The rooms are double occupancy. An extra $25.00 fee will be charged for each extra person, subject to availability. Due to the intimate environment of The Olde Savannah Inn, children under the age of 12 are not recommended. Small pets under 40 lbs are welcome on first floor only and require a non-refundable pet deposit of $100. Smoking is not permitted in the main house, but we do accommodate smoking in our courtyard.  If damages to the room occur during a stay the guest(s) will be billed for the extent of the damages accrued. 

Minimum reservations, holidays & special events: 

There is a two night minimum required for all reservations, holidays, and all other special events in Savannah. All reservations include a 13% bedding and state tax for the state of Georgia. All rooms are double occupancy. An extra $25.00 fee will be charged for an extra person. subject to availability and we would appreciate that your reservation be made in advance. Due to the unique environment of The Olde Savannah Inn, children under the age of 12 are not recommended. Small pets under 40 lbs are welcome on first floor only and require a non-refundable pet deposit of $100. Smoking is not permitted in the main house, but we do accommodate smoking on the veranda and in our courtyard. If damages to the room occur guest(s) will be billed for the extent of the damages accrued. 


We require a two-night minimum stay during weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday bookings require 2 nights). All long holiday weekends, a three night stay, special events such as St. Patrick's day, Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, Tour of Homes, Music Festival, Knob Garden tour etc. 


I'd like to leave a gratuity for the innkeeper; how should I do this?

Leaving a gratuity is not required. It is acceptable, however, to give the gratuity directly to your staff member, or leave it in the guest room when you checkout if you choose to do so. 


Payment:

All Major credit cards are accepted including Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover.


Privacy Policy:

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

 

Security Policy:

Our booking engine, SuperINN.com uses a VeriSign Extended Validation SSL which gives Web site visitors an easy and reliable way to establish trust online. Only SSL Certificates with Extended Validation (EV) will trigger high security Web browsers to display a green address bar with the name of the organization that owns the SSL Certificate and the name of the Certificate Authority that issued it. The green bar shows site visitors that the transaction is encrypted and the organization has been authenticated according to the most rigorous industry standard.
