Dear Kathleen,
Mamie and I would just like to say THANK YOU for an exceptional night at The Olde Savannah Inn. Our time spent with you and your staff was the highlight of our entire honeymoon and will not soon be forgotten. During our stay your southern hospitality and attention to every detail was truly manifested in everyway possible. Both the evening seven course dinner and the five course breakfast were exceptional and incomparable with any fine dinning we have ever experienced. The thoughtfulness you showed us by turning down the sheets, placing flowers in the room and just the general friendliness, kindness, and extraordinary attention to detail showed the extent of your desire to establish a Bed and Breakfast of distinction. We thank you a again for the wonderful memories and look forward to a future stay at The Olde Savannah Inn.

Your Friends,
Kent and Mamie Gunter

On a recent visit to Savannah we stumbled across this exquisite B&B and met the lovely Innkeeper Kathleen. She was worth the trip to Savannah! We asked if we could see her Inn and she not only invited us in, but upon finding out it was my husband's birthday invited us to have cake with her and her guests! The amenities are 5 star! How can we describe such a beautiful and romantic Inn? The web site is but a glimpse of the Inn's beauty. Kathleen recently opened the Inn and the guests we met were beaming with pleasure and didn't want to leave to go home. She has a gift of hospitality and treats her guests and even those who aren't her guests... as royalty.

We look forward to booking our next stay in Savannah at this remarkable Inn!

Dear Kathleen,
It was John and my first trip to Savannah and the Old Savannah Inn. We loved both of them! Both are sumptuously lovely, elegant, and genteel. You’re warmth and friendliness was the icing on the cake. (And certainly the great breakfast was too!) I really appreciated the five star hotel qualities of the room and bath as well as how immaculate everything was. Five star hotels will never compare to the charm and beauty The Old Savannah Inn has and your attention to fine detail. We couldn't have picked a better introduction for ourselves. I hope we’ll be back soon.

From the moment Kathleen greeted me on the telephone, I knew we were in for a rare and exceptional experience! She is so warm and open and charming. She has such a passion and love for what she has created with this home, I couldn't wait to meet her and enjoy everything first hand!

Absolutely every detail in this home is the best. No corners have been cut anywhere. Everything is exquisite, fabulous, amazing and beautiful. You will be surrounded in wonderfully sumptuous luxury, coupled with such lovely hospitality that you won't want to ever leave.

Fresh flowers and petit fours waiting in our room upon arrival. The bed turned down and waiting for us with the most amazing dessert - a decadent pastry served on a bed of warmed liquid milk chocolate, fresh sliced strawberries and real whipped cream -- to die for! served with a perfectly complimentary dessert wine in our room with the fireplace going. And then to crawl into that bed, with those amazing linens! We did not want to get up out of that bed ever!

A five star candlelit breakfast, so abundant with delicious and eclectic treats, I didn't have room to eat again until the wine and cheese reception late that afternoon! And Miss DIana on the piano at the reception! What an experience it was being with her. She is so talented and generous with herself. Please be sure to ask her to perform some of the music she has composed and recorded, you will most certainly enjoy it!

Miss Delores gave me such a heavenly massage in the spa. I am surprised I didn't kidnap her and bring her home with me! If you really want to have the ultimate pampered, romantic glorious stay in Savannah, you must visit Kathleen and experience all she has poured her heart into to provide for you.

Andy and I have both traveled extensively. We've been fortunate enough to stay in many five star hotels and our stay at The Olde Savannah Inn was far and above the best experience ever. You have the best of everything, and then the most charming, elegant, caring people there so happy to meet your every wish..you could not ask for more.

Wealth has been described as an absence of compromise. Visit Kathleen and you will appreciate that definition fully!

Warmly,
Melanie and Andy

I wanted to thank you again for a fantastic weekend! What a wonderful surprise it was to get engaged in such a special place! We have already recommended you to two different couples who will be up that way in March, so hopefully we'll have you on the Gainesville, Florida map as the most incredible place to stay in Savannah! :)

Rarely do we get the opportunity to experience the adventure we shared with Kathleen at the Olde Savannah Inn. The hospitality extended to my husband and I was only surpassed by Kathleen's kindness and her attention to every detail. The guest room was beyond imagination, and the personal touch was superior!! The memories will be etched in my heart forever. Our plans in the future will definitely include another stay here and to keep in touch with Kathleen. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Love,
Ann and Lock

Just a quick note to give you a huge thank-you. We had such a wonderful experience at your Inn. I will see my “bunko” buddies in March and will show them all the lovely pictures of your Inn and Savannah. I will be mailing a few pictures to you very soon.
Thanks again for such a wonderful time,

Gloria

Dear Kathleen,
Thank you so much for the wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary at your inn. The Olde Savannah Inn was our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Versailles court was amazing and we did not want to leave. Thanks again for your hospitality. You are truly a warm and gifted hostess. We loved our stay so much that we posted reviews on bedandbreakfast.com and tripadvisor.com so that others will know about this Savannah treasure. We hope that you have continued success and that we can repeat our visit.

Thanks again,
Davis and Lindsay

P.S.: Davis and I are still talking about the blueberry pancakes and french onion soup.
They were too die for!!

We were interested in enjoying the southern charm, hospitality, and excellent food establishments that we had read existed in Savannah. In researching the city’s layout, reading reviews, and making a comparison chart of places to stay, the Olde Savannah Inn appeared to be the place of choice to start. This was to be our first Bread & Breakfast experience so it was with great expectation when we called the Innkeeper to make our reservations along with general inquiries.

The Olde Savannah Inn is a very beautiful, extremely well decorated Bed & Breakfast. Located on a quiet, well lit, tree-line street faced with a quaint wrought-iron fence that encases several beautiful mini-flower gardens around a water fountain.

When we arrived, we were directed to an off-street, gated and fenced courtyard-parking area behind the Inn.

The warm greeting from Innkeeper Kathleen Dupuis, the first sip of the much welcomed ice tea punch received, and the dazzling chandeliers that illuminate each room, hall, and stairway can easily carry one away. The awe-inspiring, matched framed, artworks by Thomas Kinkade along with equally-matched framed pieces by local artists, the decorative floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and the plush pillows that grace each bed immediately alert guest that a quality stay is in store.

As we were getting acquainted with our new surroundings, our host was constantly presenting delicious snacks and tasty goodies. The dining area, along with the settings, was immaculate as was the sitting parlor. We were truly made to feel like family.

The beds were quite comfortable and the high-quality linens refreshing. Each room had its individual entertainment center and the baths were very well stocked with every conceivable amenity.

Breakfast presentation was beautiful, the food was delicious and the servings endless. The Innkeeper, Ms Kathleen, really extended herself to please each guest.

During our stay, we were treated to a wine, cheese, & desert social, complete with music by local artesian, Ms Diana.

The Olde Savannah Inn truly rates a 5 and is definitely on out re-visit list for future vacation travel to Savannah, GA.

We absolutely found a hidden treasure at The Olde Savannah Inn, we were so fortunate to have discovered you! We were stunned at the amazing care and planning that went into every aspect of our visit.  You spared no expense with the evening reception food and the unexpected treats and flowers that awaited us in our room.

You single handedly decorated your Inn immaculately, down to the last detail, and your company brought us so much joy that we truly felt that we had found the "classic" Innkeeper in a place we love. We felt incredibly welcomed and cared for--I cannot wait to get back for some of your unbelievable blueberry pancakes (I'm dying for the recipe) with freshly whipped cream.

We felt spoiled in everything you did for us and made our special occasion even more precious.  Thank you for everything, we look forward to visiting again very soon.

Very Sincerely,
Matt and Michelle

Men, THIS is the Place you've been looking for...
Okay guys I understand your plight. You have been searching for a very special place. One that will make her hug you tight around the neck and love you for being so thoughtful. If The Olde Savannah Inn is within your price range Book it RIGHT NOW. Then get to bed and know she WILL be impressed. If it's a little above your price range BOOK IT ANYWAY. You'll only take her to Savannah for the first time once. THIS is what she's expecting. (If your honey is reading this then SHE should book it right now...don't wait for your husband to approve...this is how he wants to spoil you, some of us just need a little help sometimes).

I was distraught about this time last year looking for hours for the absolute knock-your-socks off kinda place to take my wife for our twentieth anniversary. But...I did not find the Olde Savannah Inn in time. No...I thought I was going to impress my bride a few doors down. The other place was okay. But, walking past the clean bright entrance to the Olde Savannah Inn we thought we'd pop-in for a quick hello and maybe sneak a tour. Little did we know Kathleen, the Inn owner, would greet us as if we were staying. She offered us dessert, wine and friendly conversation. It was late and felt we may be over staying our welcome, but as we were leaving, she invited us over for breakfast.

In the late morning everyone had checked out so we got to check-out all the rooms. WOW! Read the other reviews for details...just WOW!! Kathleen was so down to earth, but don't confuse that with her not making everything in her inn High-End and Perfect.

GUYS please, you know we will search for hours to make sure it's the right place. I've done that already. THIS is the RIGHT PLACE. If she doesn't LOVE IT she's not breathing. Kathleen, Thank You...when we return to Savannah you will be our ONLY choice. We will change our dates if we have to to stay at your place. Oh yeah guys, you're wondering about location. Its great...stop stalling. Book It Right Now.

Why is it so great...Kathleen. And funny enough, there's only one of her in Savannah.

God Bless, David (& Doreen)
