Dear Kathleen, ----------------------------------------- On a recent visit to Savannah we stumbled across this exquisite B&B and met the lovely Innkeeper Kathleen. She was worth the trip to Savannah! We asked if we could see her Inn and she not only invited us in, but upon finding out it was my husband's birthday invited us to have cake with her and her guests! The amenities are 5 star! How can we describe such a beautiful and romantic Inn? The web site is but a glimpse of the Inn's beauty. Kathleen recently opened the Inn and the guests we met were beaming with pleasure and didn't want to leave to go home. She has a gift of hospitality and treats her guests and even those who aren't her guests... as royalty. We look forward to booking our next stay in Savannah at this remarkable Inn! ----------------------------------------- Dear Kathleen, ----------------------------------------- From the moment Kathleen greeted me on the telephone, I knew we were in for a rare and exceptional experience! She is so warm and open and charming. She has such a passion and love for what she has created with this home, I couldn't wait to meet her and enjoy everything first hand! ----------------------------------------- I wanted to thank you again for a fantastic weekend! What a wonderful surprise it was to get engaged in such a special place! We have already recommended you to two different couples who will be up that way in March, so hopefully we'll have you on the Gainesville, Florida map as the most incredible place to stay in Savannah! :) Jennifer ----------------------------------------- Rarely do we get the opportunity to experience the adventure we shared with Kathleen at the Olde Savannah Inn. The hospitality extended to my husband and I was only surpassed by Kathleen's kindness and her attention to every detail. The guest room was beyond imagination, and the personal touch was superior!! The memories will be etched in my heart forever. Our plans in the future will definitely include another stay here and to keep in touch with Kathleen. Thanks for the wonderful memories! ----------------------------------------- Just a quick note to give you a huge thank-you. We had such a wonderful experience at your Inn. I will see my “bunko” buddies in March and will show them all the lovely pictures of your Inn and Savannah. I will be mailing a few pictures to you very soon. Gloria ----------------------------------------- Dear Kathleen,
----------------------------------------- We were interested in enjoying the southern charm, hospitality, and excellent food establishments that we had read existed in Savannah. In researching the city’s layout, reading reviews, and making a comparison chart of places to stay, the Olde Savannah Inn appeared to be the place of choice to start. This was to be our first Bread & Breakfast experience so it was with great expectation when we called the Innkeeper to make our reservations along with general inquiries. The Olde Savannah Inn is a very beautiful, extremely well decorated Bed & Breakfast. Located on a quiet, well lit, tree-line street faced with a quaint wrought-iron fence that encases several beautiful mini-flower gardens around a water fountain. When we arrived, we were directed to an off-street, gated and fenced courtyard-parking area behind the Inn. The warm greeting from Innkeeper Kathleen Dupuis, the first sip of the much welcomed ice tea punch received, and the dazzling chandeliers that illuminate each room, hall, and stairway can easily carry one away. The awe-inspiring, matched framed, artworks by Thomas Kinkade along with equally-matched framed pieces by local artists, the decorative floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and the plush pillows that grace each bed immediately alert guest that a quality stay is in store. As we were getting acquainted with our new surroundings, our host was constantly presenting delicious snacks and tasty goodies. The dining area, along with the settings, was immaculate as was the sitting parlor. We were truly made to feel like family. The beds were quite comfortable and the high-quality linens refreshing. Each room had its individual entertainment center and the baths were very well stocked with every conceivable amenity. Breakfast presentation was beautiful, the food was delicious and the servings endless. The Innkeeper, Ms Kathleen, really extended herself to please each guest. During our stay, we were treated to a wine, cheese, & desert social, complete with music by local artesian, Ms Diana. The Olde Savannah Inn truly rates a 5 and is definitely on out re-visit list for future vacation travel to Savannah, GA. Morris & Gloria Hardin ----------------------------------------- We absolutely found a hidden treasure at The Olde Savannah Inn, we were so fortunate to have discovered you! We were stunned at the amazing care and planning that went into every aspect of our visit. You spared no expense with the evening reception food and the unexpected treats and flowers that awaited us in our room. ----------------------------------------- Men, THIS is the Place you've been looking for... I was distraught about this time last year looking for hours for the absolute knock-your-socks off kinda place to take my wife for our twentieth anniversary. But...I did not find the Olde Savannah Inn in time. No...I thought I was going to impress my bride a few doors down. The other place was okay. But, walking past the clean bright entrance to the Olde Savannah Inn we thought we'd pop-in for a quick hello and maybe sneak a tour. Little did we know Kathleen, the Inn owner, would greet us as if we were staying. She offered us dessert, wine and friendly conversation. It was late and felt we may be over staying our welcome, but as we were leaving, she invited us over for breakfast. In the late morning everyone had checked out so we got to check-out all the rooms. WOW! Read the other reviews for details...just WOW!! Kathleen was so down to earth, but don't confuse that with her not making everything in her inn High-End and Perfect. GUYS please, you know we will search for hours to make sure it's the right place. I've done that already. THIS is the RIGHT PLACE. If she doesn't LOVE IT she's not breathing. Kathleen, Thank You...when we return to Savannah you will be our ONLY choice. We will change our dates if we have to to stay at your place. Oh yeah guys, you're wondering about location. Its great...stop stalling. Book It Right Now. God Bless, David (& Doreen) ----------------------------------------- Please call (912) 247-8254 for more information or to make a reservation
